We made the drive to Napa on Thursday night to see 9-5 directed by Dyan and with Scottie. It's another movie made into a musical which I usually enjoy and this was no exception. The staging was clever especially given the small space. The costume changes were plenty (Scottie had 9) and the singing was great. As a special bonus, we got to meet the actress playing Miranda's "mom" in Scrooge in Love. And as an extra special bonus, when we were chatting with an actress we didn't know after the show, she recognized Miranda from Violet and complimented her about her performance and how much she enjoyed it. It was incredibly sweet of her and put a big smile on Miranda's face!
