Drove to Pittsurg today to see Tanika in Sister Act. She was unbelievably good, not just with her singing but her delivery and command of the stage. She really brought it! The production was fairly amateurish in general with almost no sets, much of the performance in front of the curtain, no orchestra, shaky spotlights and only a few other actors who could sing. But Tanika made up for all of it. Which the director acknowledged after the show, as it was closing. She even got the legacy robe. Talk about lifting others up!
